150 Pearls\150 Stations- A Method of Praying the Rosary as A Mental Prayer
Info Below On My Apostolate Making and Distributing Rosaries on the Camino de Santiago
This Method of Praying the Rosary assigns a Station for each of the 150 Ave Marias in a Full Rosary. It retains the practice of St Louis de Montfort of assigning a virtue to each decade. The 150 Stations each serve the respective theme of the decade. It is my own method.
A brief word about the Angelic Salutation. It is profitable to look with the first half, so from Ave Maria (to)…Jesus, then desire some excellence in what is looked at with the second half from Sancta Maria (to)…mortis nostrae. To desire we must see our own lack in the excellence.
The first 10 decades afford historical stations. A few go outside of scripture, either to conform with the stations of the cross or with the biblical revelations to Bl Anne Catherine Emmerich. The last 5 decades contain remaining remaining virtues or symbols\roles of Christ and Mary.

I also make them as bracelets so people will be blessed by the sacramental and also not forget to pray! This Lady wanted to wear it. My Mission and Apostolate.
After a year of walking on the camino and trying to collect and distribute as many rosaries as I could to the people I’d meet I started wanting to make them myself to distribute. Luckily a priest in Rome offered to buy all the supplies I needed for this manufacture a few years ago and he also replenishes me each year when I arrive in Rome. This was such a boon to my work in evangelization because I meet people, particularly when I’m on pilgrimage, and am able to connect with them, talk about faith and then commend the rosary prayer and give a hand made rosary. It had also bothered me for years that cheap plastic rosaries are often distributed on the camino by religious nuns and priests, this gives—according to McLuhan’s medium is the message principle—the impression the rosary is of little value. So I wanted to give people high quality chord rosaries to give the right message: this prayer is precious! So often I am able to pray it with people before parting and if not I always have hand-out guides in all languages with me.
I am currently reading The Secret of the Rosary by St. Louis De Montfort. I prefer the corded rosaries too, it is true the chain ones are annoying. Mine keeps falling apart.
Beautiful. I will use it if that’s okay.
